Text, Text, Text

So...I finally made it to the 21st century. I am now the proud owner of an unlimited texting plan. I am so excited. We never texted much because we had to pay per text but since we renewed our contracts we added it in this time. I'm so excited!! Sad, I know right? LOL

Potty Training....what can I say? LOL It's actually been going really well surprisingly. We started pretty hard core Friday night. Saturday he only had one accident and he actually poopied in the potty too! Then he wore big boy underwear to church yesterday (first public trip). He pee peed in the potty at church one time during Sunday School. He managed to stay dry all during preaching. When he got home he went to the potty. Then he ended up having two accidents yesterday but I still thought he did really good. Today he only had one accident and it was right before his bath tonight so he almost made it the whole day accident free! I am so proud of him. He still hasn't told us when he needs to go yet but he's still doing great! He's no where near completely trained but he's getting there!

It's Potty Time!!!!

On Saturday, we started putting big boy underwear on Landen and letting him run around the house in them for a while. We kept taking him to the potty but he would not ever use it. He would leave the bathroom and then pee pee in the floor not long after and say "Mommy I pee pee" LOL.

Tonight before we went to church Rusty told Landen not to pee pee in his diaper while he was at church. He said ok, but we thought...yea right. Well, I don't know if one of his teachers changed his diaper or not, but when he got home his diaper was dry! We took it off and he sat on the potty. He read books...but no pee pee. He got up and went to get his stuffed animals. One by one, Rusty held them over the potty and pretended they went pee pee in the potty. After they went pee pee they got candy. After all of the stuffed animals had pottied it was Landen's turn. He sat down and had been sitting there for a while. Rusty and I were in there with him and we were talking and had just finished saying...he's not gonna pee pee. Just a few seconds later he did it! We thought that he did and then Rusty said stand up...and there was the pee pee!! We cheered, high-fived & gave knucks...we had a big celebration! Landen was so excited too! We called family and let him tell them that he went pee pee in the potty. He really enjoyed that....almost as much as his M&M's and Smarties that he got for going potty. I am so proud of my big boy!

Playoffs?

Our favorite NFL team is the Atlanta Falcons, and since it's rare that they are in the playoffs, and that the game is in Atlanta, Rusty and I decided that we would go. It was January 15th & they played the Greenbay Packers. Needless to say they ended up losing the game. The first half was great until right around half time. It seemed like it was going to be a close game, but then it was all down hill from there LOL.

We got there really early so we were able to enjoy the pre-game festivities. This consisted of walking around at Falcons Landing which is where they have little games you can play & they also do give aways. We were also there early enough to check out all of the people who were tailgating.

As we were waiting to go into Falcons Landing a lot of the people around us were drinking. It seemed as if everyone had a beer in their hand. Some people had to have already been drunk before the game ever started. Of course we weren't drinking and Rusty looked at me one time and said, "Do we look out of place?". I said...I hope so!

We had a great time just being with each other and it was still fun going to the game even if they did lose. However, it would've been even better if they had won.
